2018 VOLKSWAGEN CRAFTER LEISUREDRIVE ARTESANOcampervan. 2 berth and 4 belt High-Top campervan with a luxury rear washroom layout. In striking Ocean Blue, it is based on the Volkswagen Crafter CR35 Hi-Line spec with a VW 2.0L TDI Euro 6 compliant 140Bhp upgrade diesel engine with a six speed manual gearbox and just 3500 miles! You will not find many Campervans built to the specification and versatility of this Artesano!

As you step into this VW Artesano professional conversion, you enter a large seated area available with two stow away tables for meals and social time. The walk-through design leads to the well equipped kitchen set to both sides of the campervan. This area includes a Dometic electric pumped stainless steel sink with integrated dual gas burner hob with toughened glass lid, a Smev oven and grill with a separate 700w microwave and 60L Dometic three-way fridge freezer and plenty of storage space for all your kitchen needs.

The side settee layout has been employed to good effect on this VW Artesano, open the side-door, which is UK kerbside and you’ll see one forward-facing seat by the door and a long settee opposite. The layout can either be arranged as a side settee or can be made into an extra forward-facing travel seat by sliding the centre section of the seat base rearwards. There is a wall mounted Avtex TV and DVD player in the living area

By not placing any of the kitchen galley across the sliding door, you also get a far more panoramic view out of the side of the van from the living area, so many other campervans block the sliding door opening by putting kitchen cabinets in the way,

At the rear of the Volkswagen camper is a separate good-sized washroom housing Thetford cassette toilet, a modern wash basin with a mirror, a free-standing shower with pull round curtain all neatly fitted with lots of cupboard space. A roof fitted extractor fan keeps the bathroom free from excessive steam and a tambour door keeps the washroom private from the lounge.

At night the two rear seats can be laid flat to provide two comfortable five feet, ten inch long single beds, or a good sized six feet by four feet double. Wardrobes and multiple large cupboards allow lots of storage space throughout

Independent lighting including strip lights at the sides and rear, touch LED’s and reading spots illuminate the interior at night.

This Artesano campervan comes with a factory fitted Dometic 230v habitation ceiling mounted air conditioning unit keeping you cool on those hot summer days. In the cooler months a Webasto dual power digital unit provides efficient blown air heating with three outlets including the bathroom as well as providing hot water throughout. There are several mains plug sockets with integrated USB adapters to charge your devices and Leisuredrive have used sheep wool for insulation and sound proofing, whilst blackout curtains all around provide privacy.

The cab includes driver and passenger airbags, electric windows and wing mirror adjustment, Bluetooth connectivity, silver windscreen screens and the swivelling passenger seat faces the living area.

Outside there is a Fiamma 65s wind out awning, LED awning light, front and rear parking sensors, access to toilet cassette, additional security locks on the side and rear doors, a Scorpion Tracker, which requires an annual subscription and a mains hook up point.

This motorhome has a maximum vehicle weight of 3500Kgs which allows anybody to drive the motorhome on a full car driving licence and comes with two sets of keys. The external length is 5.99m. There is little doubt that the VW Crafter is one of the best-driving campervans out there.
